IQF Fourme d’Ambert slice is a traditional bleu-veined cheese made from pasteurized cow’s milk. Fourme d’Ambert is a Protected Denomination of Origin (PDO) cheese elaborated in France.
The product is cleverly portioned in quarter moon shaped slices and very easy to use.
Selected loaves are quartered and slices are individually quick frozen to stop the ageing process. Product loss is virtually nil and use of IQF frozen is more economical over regular chilled and unportioned blue cheese in cylinders or quarts. Kitchen professionals can make original and striking presentations with enhanced flavour and keep a tight control on costs.
